Julia Dahl at Salon is reporting that as popular as the Democratic YouTube debate was among the young, Republican Presidential candidates are, well, not so sure:
The Washington Post reports this morning that so far, only Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, have agreed to appear at the next CNN/YouTube debate scheduled for Sept. 17 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mitt Romney told the Manchester Union Leader on Wednesday, “I think the presidency ought to be held at a higher level than having to answer questions from a snowman.”
I’d be happy if Republicans acknowledged that the President should answer questions from anyone, but that’s another issue.
I know the youth vote is trending seriously Democratic these days, but do the Republicans really want to write it off?
That was, by the way, a rhetorical question.
