Bloggy Stuff

Directly and indirectly through Digby, I was introduced to a couple of blogs I thought I’d share. She was linking to The G Spot, whose self-proclaimed “shrill feminist” principal,. Kathy G, is a Chicago-based aspiring PhD. The link was to this story about Maureen Dowd’s almost comical inability to do anything but gossip.

Kathy then sent me to Tom at Rust Belt Intellectual, who has much worth reading, but this piece, on his pride in paying taxes and his thought that we don’t pay enough – struck a chord with me. Plus, there’s Monty Python.

In other news, the Mets have awakened and crawled into first place in the NL east. I have no idea what the Phillies current record – just shy of .500 – means for Tuesday’s Pennsylvania primary. After all, every other thing in the world is going to affect it somehow, right?
