Great Moments in Political Deliberation

Olympia Snowe, part of the “Gang of Six” that delayed a Senate bill in the first place, will oppose the latest version of health care reform because it is being “rushed.”

Meanwhile, Ezra Klein looks at the bill and finds things to like, and notes that there is time to fix problems in conference. And Paul Krugman argues that this bill is worth passing, and scolds so-called deficit hawks for their insincerity.

Best of all, Democrats extract revenge on John Boehner with a vindictive tanning bed tax.
