Granted, the NCAA is byzantine at best and moronic at worst (although putting USC on probation for two years did warm my UCLA Bruin heart), but this non-Solomonic decision that penalizes five Ohio State players for receiving “improper benefits” – but not just yet – just make you want to pound your head into a wall.
And not just because it’s Ohio State, which is probably the second or third most reviled college football program in the country (see aforementioned USC, also, too – Notre Dame).
Anyway, if Terrelle Pryor or any of his teammates are listening, I suggest that you sell your bowl jerseys to the highest bidder on eBay and hightail it for the NFL. The NFL is all about the money, too – but at least you’ll get a good piece of it.
But none of you should be playing in the Sugar Bowl. That’s just ridiculously unsupportable.
